I have seen this bumper sticker that says "Mean People Suck" and it's so true. Mean people do suck. What ever happened to helping someone out? Smiling? Loving your neighbor (Okay Marina, not in the way YOU love your neighbor) and just being kind people? Instead I have come across alot of mean people lately. Do they realise how ugly they are with their crumpled up "bulldog" like faces? Even if they are ugly people and can't help the way they look because of genetics, they could at least be beautiful people by smiling. Hey, it's not MY fault that their parents resemble Godzilla and they made a kid...you could be a beautiful and sexy "Godzilla's kid" if you just smile and BE NICE. Go up to a stranger, even the smelly guy on the corner and he had just finished having his head in the dumpster and was rummaging for his latest meal, give him a kiss, a hug...tell him he is a beautiful bum. A bit smelly but beautiful and maybe even hand him money for some real donuts instead of "dumpster donuts." Tell your co-worker...you know the one you absolutely would love to punch in the face and spit on her? Tell her that you really enjoy working with her and although she is a real bitch that you still like her anyway. My mother always says "Kill them with kindness, Catherine" and you know what? Mean people hate that! Because then they realise how mean and nasty they are. They have a kind person just lurking inside...we all do.
Bring out the kindess and put away the ugliness.
